Residents can conveniently drop off leftover paint, primers and stains for recycling or disposal at any one of four locations across Orange County, including right here in Anaheim at 1071 N. Blue Gum St. On average, households stockpile one to three gallons of paint per year. In fiscal year 2023-24 Orange County Waste & Recycling welcomed 164,432 visitors to the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Centers and collected more than 3 million pounds of hazardous waste, but some of the paint can be recycled by others.
